Mr. Sharp, 86, Stockton, died Friday at Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility. He was one of six children born to John A. and Nadine (Truman) Sharp.
Survivors include two daughters and their families, Kathy Ann Sharp Skakal and husband Kenny, and their son, Kody, and two daughters, Jan Rowland and Jill James and their families and Karen Lee Schwalm and husband Jay, and their son, Jonathon; his son Johnny's children and their families, Carrie Sue Pippton, Jay Sharp, Allen Sharp and Bryan Sharp; his partner of 30 years, Norma Phipps Sayre and her children, David Sayre and wife Elaine, Wayne Sayre, Theresa Sayre Reibott and husband Jerry and daughter, Meagan; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, George Sharp, Alden Sharp, and Glen Sharp; two sisters, Ruby Sharp Baldwain and Lela Sharp McCall; his wife, Betty Jo Ewing Sharp; and two sons, Johnny Sharp and Myron Sayre.
Visitation was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at Brumback Funeral Home. Services followed at 2 p.m., with burial in Pankey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility.
