Mr. Claude "C.L." Luther Kelly, 85 of Yuma, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 13, 2014 at 2:00PM at the Yuma Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Bro. Michael Butler and Bro. Tim Maness will officiate the service. Pallbearers who will serve are Ricky Douglas, Ronnie Breeden, Lynn Breeden, Joe Breeden, Josh Bryant, and Josh Todd. Honorary Pallbearers are Kelly Foster, Harold Breeden, and Logan Foster. The family will receive friends at the Yuma Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday after 4:00PM until time of service on Friday. Mr. Kelly was born May 18, 1929 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Martin Luther Kelly and Gracie Mae (Pratt) Kelly. He was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for Causie & Co., and served in the Army during the Korean War. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Leta "Annie" Faye Kelly, who died January 17, 2014, three sisters and two brothers. He is survived by one son, Timothy Kelly, one daughter, Sherry Lewis (husband Frank), both of Yuma, two sisters, Frances Spellings of Memphis, and Imogene Douglas of Lexington; and one brother, Donald Kelly of Memphis. He also leaves four grandchildren, Kelly Foster, Logan Foster, Katy Bryant (husband Josh), Anna Todd (husband Josh), six great-grandchildren, Nathan Foster, Emily Foster, and Leslie Foster, Jeremiah Bryant, Kelly Beth Bryant, and Griffin Todd.
