Norma Rhea Langston was born in Salem, Arkansas, on May 10, 1921, daughter of Berchie (Stephens) Isenhower and John D. Isenhower, Jr. She departed this life on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 93 years and 26 days.

Norma was united in marriage to Wesley "Pete" Langston on May 27, 1938, at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. She loved her flowers and working in the yard. Norma enjoyed crocheting, quilting and was an excellent cook. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas, for many years.

Norma is survived by one granddaughter, Jamie Ann Langston Casteel and husband Ed of Madison, Mississippi; one grandson, Robert Jack Langston and wife Lori of Fort Smith, Arkansas; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Faye (Tucker) Putman of Salem, Arkansas, Kowanda Benton of Fort Worth, Texas, and Vera Bhurmeister of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother Vern Isenhower of Kansas; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete; two sons, Jerry Leon Langston and Jack Wayne Langston; her parents and three sisters, Margaret Smith, Johnnie Sutherland and Mary Isenhower.

Funeral services will be held at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas, at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 9, 2014, with Bro. Alan Winberry officiating. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas, with arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem. Music by Bro. Gary Barker. Pallbearers are Scott Baker, Dennie Bost, Kenny Crow, Glenn Sanderson, Ron Helm and Boyd Hickinbotham.
