Funeral services are planned for Wednesday, April 22 at 1 p.m. at McCarthy Funeral Home in West Point with the Rev. Bogey Cotney officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband, Ronald F. Mitchell of Lanett; her daughter, April Christine Mitchell of Lanett; three sons, Robert Dustin Mitchell, Benjamine Ronald Mitchell and Peter Nathaniel Mitchell, all of Lanett; one sister, Jacqueline Monique "Nikki" Foster of Valley; three brothers, Mark Lindsey of Greenville, Ala., David Lindsey of LaGrange and Steve Lindsey of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born July 10, 1960 in Germany, Mrs. Mitchell was the daughter of the late Chon Hudson Lindsey and the late Raymond Hudson Jr. She was a member of the Pentecostal church. Tina was small and quiet. Her heart was bigger than she was. Strong in love and kindness and protective, she loved unconditionally, gave wholeheartedly and was more than a mother to her children.
She was a friend, and she made a house a home. Putting herself before others time and again, she was without a question supportive. More than anything, she wanted you to succeed. She would see to it. All she had to give in this world was herself, and she did so in abundance. Mrs.
Mitchell's entire life was devoted to family; that was all she knew. She was a wife, mother, sister and friend.
That's all she needed to be. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by a brother, the late Phillip M. Hudson.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 21 from 7 until 10 p.m. at McCarthy Funeral Home in West Point.
