JANESVILLE - Florence L. Reimer 87, of 3201 Vold Court, Janesville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 20, 1996, in Hawaii while visiting her special friend Dorothy Ramsey.
She was born Sept. 14, 1908, in Roscoe, Ill. the daughter of Louis A, and Clara (Goff) Belden. She married Theodore D. Reimer on June 22, 1929, in Roscoe. He died Feb. 21, 1975. She was a graduate of Hononegah High School and was employed as a secretary for Freeman Shoes retiring in 1979. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Beloit, the Janesville Woman's Golf League and enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing cards.
She is survived by four children, Sally Mae (Harold) Bonham of Reno, Nev., Jerold (Gloria) Reimer of Milton, Patricia (Peter) Sternloff of Bluefield, w.V., and Theodore D. (Linda) Reimer II of South Beloit. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; a sister, Alice Busker of Roscoe; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
Memorial services are 1 p.m. Friday, March 29, 1996, at Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Funeral Home, 1125 Cranston Road, Pastor Thomas R. Wanner of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday from 12 noon to time of service at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the First Presbyterian Church or to the Heart Association.
