2021 Note: The note below was written by my dearly departed cousin Darlene when she made this memorial. I took over management of her memorials upon her death. I have spent the last week trying to prove or disprove her story of the maiden name of Elizabeth "Lizzie." ??? Darlene said it was Bearden-- I can't find any evidence of Bearden or where the story might have come from originally. I did, however, find evidence that Kemp is likely her maiden name from the marriage record in Tennessee of Joshua Peak and Elizabeth Kemp. So, I have listed it as Kemp but I will leave the note below for reference, just in case.
