Anthony "Buppy" D'Amico, age 84, WWII Navy Veteran, passed away July 15 at home.

Loving husband and best friend of Donna; caring father of Toni Haynes and Nan (Bill) Abbott; cherished and tender grandfather of Holly (Carlo) Losurdo, Erin and Nathan Abbott; proud great-grandfather of Lorenzo; favorite brother-in-law of Gerry and Lefty Oehlerking; favorite uncle of John and Mark Forrest.

Retired tool and die maker and imaginative man of tinkering and invention. Treaseured friend of many.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 20 at 5 p.m. at The Centre at North Park, 10040 Addison, Franklin Park. 847-678-4021.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elmhurst Memorial Hospice, 855 N. Church Ct., Elmhurst, IL 60126.
