GASSAWAY - Linda Kay Hart, 49, of Chapel Route, near Gassaway, died Saturday, May 17, 1997, at home after a long illness.
She was a homemaker, bookkeeper, and a member of Richmond Chapel United Methodist Church, Chapel Route.
Surviving: husband, James E. Hart; son, Richard L. of Glendon; daughter, Rebecca Chaffins of Huntington; mother, Allena V. Engel of Gassaway; sisters, Mary Jo Blankenship of Lumberton, N.C., Donna Jean Workman of Kenova; two grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home,Gassaway, with the Rev. Ronald D. Acord, the Rev. Lorous Roberts and the Rev. David Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Hall-Hart Memorial Cemetery, near Glendon.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to Richmond Chapel United Methodist Church Sunday School Building Fund, c/o Sandra Brady, Chapel Route, Gassaway, W.Va. 26624.
