Donna L. Bauer, age 81, of Wellington passed away June 2, 2014 at the Sumner County Care Center.
Cremation has been effected. A Memorial Service for Donna will be 2pm, Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Sumner County Care Center, Wellington Kansas. Arrangements are by Swisher-Taylor & Morris FH. Condolences may be emailed to [email protected]. Inurnment will be in the Kansas Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Donna was born February 3, 1933, in Downers Grove, Ill, to Clinton & Dorothy(Seeley) Swartz. She was raised and educated in Downers Grove, graduating from high school in 1948.
Donna was a housewife and helped raise a family with William 'Billy' Bauer. He preceded her in death August 27, 2012.
She is survived by her daughters: Dorothy and husband Eugene Wittmer of Diberville, MS. Debra Bacon of Arizona. Grandchildren, William, Stephanie and Eric Wittmer; Christopher, Ryan and Charles Bacon. Great grandchildren; Lila Wittmer, Jace and Erza Allman, Nephews; Randy, William, Scott. Nieces; Sheree, Kimberly, Karen, Sharon.
She was a wonderful, happy lady and will be greatly missed by her friends and adopted family at Sumner County Care Center.
