Mr. Williams was born Oct. 12th 1925, to Millard and Sylvia Williams. He married Grace Frederick on July 15, 1950, in Ridgway. After serving in the U.S. Army he worked at Sylvania as a truck driver until his retirement in 1985.
He is survived by his wife, five children, Diane Williams of Emporium, Carol (Gene) Lentz of Austin, David "Dude" Williams of Emporium, Sylvia "Jeanie"Barber of Galeton and Brenda Williams of Emporium; three grandchildren, Tammy (Lentz) Clancyand Michael Lentz of Austin and Bill Foley; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Doris Cook.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday (Jan. 8,2011) at the Gardeau Community Church, followed by a luncheon at 2 p.m. at the Emporium VFW.
