Gulfport, MS ~ Benjamin Joel Alston, age 30, of Gulfport, passed away June 5, 2014 in Gulfport, MS.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Ann Alston; and his grandparents, Clarence and Della Alston and Dennis and Doris Daughdrill.

Ben is survived by his parents, Bobby Alston and Patricia Alston of Gulfport; his three aunts, Vera Alston and Marilyn Alston, both of Gulfport, and Linda Worthington of Tennessee; and his cousins, Kenny, Kay, Kevin, Mike Alston, and Candi (Luke) Davidson.

He was a member of Michael Memorial Baptist Church. He was a 2003 graduate of Harrison Central High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where he received a Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis on cinematography. Ben loved acting and creating movies. He also loved his cats.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends from 9:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
