Leland Craig Wright, 62, was born in Ogden, Utah, on October 10, 1951, and passed away May 24, 2014 in Everett, Washington, after a nine-month battle with cancer. He is the son of Leland John Wright and JoElla Hammons Wright.
He lived in Morgan, Utah, and attended Morgan schools. He later received his GED. He worked in construction for many years before an industrial accident injury. He had joined the U.S. Marine Corp and received an honorable discharge.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his mother of Morgan; sister, Marla (Craig) Hyde; one daughter, Tami (Kelly) Maser; and two grandsons, Payden and Brandon; aunts Phyllis Lee, Shirley Creager, Nancy Mikesell; Uncle Abbot Mikesell; also many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his father; grandparents William P. and Mildred Hammons, George and Belva Wright; also aunts, uncles and several cousins.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the South Morgan Cemetery, Morgan, Utah.
