He was born October 9, 1932 in Mulberry, to the late Eula and Lizzie Hunter.
He was a retired machinist, and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and was of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Billy Frank Hunter, Jr., and Gary Voyt Hunter.
He is survived by two sons, Terry Hunter of Chicago, IL, and Russ Hunter of Chester, VA; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service with Military Honors will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2014 at New Cemetery in Mulberry, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
