WEST POINT – Felix Johnson, 90, died Monday, March 30, 2009, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. He was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Starkville. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Samuel Messina officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Robinson Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Kehl Johnson of West Point; one son, Charles Johnson (Teresa) of West Point; three daughters, Helen Louise Langford of West Point, Virginia Lynn Kyle (Tom) of Columbus and Mary Ann Britt (Tim) of Starkville; a daughter-in-law, Yolanda Johnson of Biloxi; one brother, William E. Johnson of Chipley, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Felix Alan Johnson, and his parents, Olive Myrtle Fulton and Felix Ernest Johnson Sr.

Pallbearers will be Tim Britt, Tom Kyle, Kevin Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, T.J. Kyle and Christopher Johnson. Dr. T.N. Braddock will be an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
