Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Annie Bell Bailey, 77, of West Monroe, LA, will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Community of Christ Church in Eros, LA, with High Priest Ellis Lewis officiating.

Interment will follow at Community of Christ Church Cemetery in Eros, LA, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Mrs. Bailey was born in Gadsden, AL, on April 9, 1937, to the union of Jim and Bessie Shavers Steakley. She passed away on June 4, 2014, at Landmark Nursing Home in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Bailey retired after 29 years from the Hob Nob Restaurant She loved bingo, puzzles, and game shows.

Mrs. Bailey is preceded in death by her son, Michael Charles Bailey; parents, Jim and Bessie Steakley; and daughter-in-law, Tina Bailey.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Arthur Dale Bailey and his wife Pat, Walter Joe Bailey, Merle Allen Bailey, John Keith Bailey and his wife Teresa, Gerri Lynn Davis and her husband Brian, Nita Faye Bailey, and Terri Marie Millican; 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Pesnell, Stephen Bailey, Joseph Bailey, Charles Creighton, Logan Bailey and Brian Davis.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs of Landmark Nursing Home and Southern Care Hospice.
