FERRUM — Noel James Cooper, age 61, passed away Sunday. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eula Cloie Shively Cooper; one daughter, Mrs. Diane C. Fisher, Rocky Mount; two sons Mr. Cecil J. Cooper, Rocky Mount; Mr. Autrey L. Cooper, Ferrum; three grandchildren; seven sisters, Mrs. Maude C. Sloan, Mrs. Betty C. Hale, Mrs. Mattie C. Wood, Mrs. Hettie C. Radford, Mrs. Annie C. Mountcastle, Miss Allie Cooper, all of Ferrum; Mrs. Jessie C. Cash, Alexandria. Funeral services will he conducted Tuesday at 2:00 pm. at the Arrington-Bussey Chapel by the Rev. Bud D. Nichols. Interment will follow in the Cooper Family Cemetery. Friends may call at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home.
