Letha Inez Davis, 94, passed away June 9, 2014. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Crescent Heights Baptist Church, 1902 N. Mockingbird Ln. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Talpa Cemetery, directed by Abilene Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis was born October 23, 1919, in Santa Anna, Texas to Robert and Mary Griffin.

She was a devout member of Crescent Heights Baptist Church since 1956. One of her numerous duties was using her gift of arranging flowers for the church.

Inez and her husband received the Jefferson award for their volunteer work and were avid dart players. They also ushered for the Key City Channel Masters at the Civic Center and Taylor County Coliseum.

Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Johnson form Jacksboro and Joyce Seals of Abilene; nephew, William Earl Seals and wife Belinda of Abilene; niece, Mary Laverne Brigham; three nephews, Lee and Jim Johnson and Bill Seals; close friends of the family, Mac and Billi Cox of Novice and James and Anno Richards of Abilene; a good neighbor of 50 years, Chuck Tarver.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Laverne Patrick.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Windcrest Alzheimer's Care Center.

Memorials can be made to the Crescent Haights Food Bank and West Texas Rehabilitation Center.
