Mrs. Edward Langley, 86, nee Wilma I. Rea, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 10 a.m., at First Baptist Church with the Reverends Raymond Woodruff and Don Higgenbotham officiating. Carol Christenson was the organist and Steve Livingston, the vocalist.
Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
Prior to the funeral, the body lay in state in the chapel of Beckmann Funeral Home.
Mrs. Langley was born Sept. 7, 1918, in Lonsdale, AR, the daughter of Walter Rea and Emma Masoner Rea. She married Edward Langley on April 16, 1938, in Los Angeles, CA and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Dale Langley of Lomita, CA.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Langley was preceded in death by two sisters, Ocie Mae Boulet and Ada Ebeline Rea, and four brothers, Hubert Rea, Jesse Rea, Luther Rea and Henry Rea.
