She was born on August 31, 1960 in Manhattan, the daughter of William and Nellie (Williamson) Williams. She grew up in the Ogden area and graduated from Manhattan High School. After high school she attended Manhattan Vo-Tech School.
Fay worked as a court stenographer and then also as a transcriptionist. She was attending college in Tulsa to earn her bachelor's degree.
Fay was married to Tim Anderson, he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her father in 1975.
Survivors include her son, Justin Anderson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her mother Nellie Williams, of Ogden, Kansas; her brothers: Andy Williams, of Ogden, KS and Bill Williams, of Monticello, Georgia.
Graveside services for Mrs. Anderson will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday June 12, 2014 at the Ogden City Cemetery in Ogden, Kansas.
