Gaffney, S.C. - - Sherry Ann Jackson Inman, 70, of 331 Gaffney Ferry Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Edgar Zeb Inman and daughter of the late Ralph Jackson and Ruby Coyle Jackson.

Mrs. Inman was a graduate of Gaffney High School where she was very athletic, playing basketball and softball. She retired from Monsanto and was a member of Silica Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are two stepsons, Eddie Dean Parker and wife, Luann, and Billy Ray Parker and wife, Judy, all of Gaffney; two stepdaughters, Jackie Cantrell and husband, Bennie, and Kathy Lee Inman, all of Gaffney; a sister, Judy J. Smith of Gaffney; a niece, Sherry Dobbins and husband, Audy, of Gaffney; three nephews, Terry Thomas Smith and wife, Holly, Michael Gene Smith and wife, Libby, and Kevin Smith, all of Gaffney; numerous step-grandchildren; numerous step-great grandchildren; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; a best friend, Margie Wyatt of Smyrna.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Silica Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Church with Rev. Billy Elder, Rev. Lynn Ford and Rev. Sidney Weaver officiating. Interment will be in the Goucher Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence, 331 Gaffney Ferry Road, Gaffney.
