Services for Betty Jean Forde Taylor, 75, of Anniston, will be 11 a.m., Wednesday at Grey Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory chapel with Pastor Ron Wooten officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Taylor died Friday in Birmingham.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Siemsen, and her husband Don, of Charleston, S.C.; six sons, James Taylor and his wife, Beverly, of Baltimore; Michael Taylor, and his wife Jeannie, of Wilson, N.C., Samuel Taylor, and his wife, Debbie, of Sumpter, S.C., Steve Taylor of Anniston, Butch Taylork, and his wife, Kim, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Joe Taylor, of Pensacola, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, Dennis Taylor, Stella Taylor, Sonny Farmer, Marcus Taylor, Michael Taylor, Brian Taylor, Toni Mack, Christopher Taylor, Ivan Zayas, Lea Taylor, Hannah Taylor, Carmen Zayas, Stevie Taylor, and Josh Taylor; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Minnie Ferguson, of Anniston; two nieces and a nephew.
Mrs. Taylor, an Anniston native, had resided in many different parts of the world during her husbands military career. She was a member of West Anniston Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Lamar Taylor, a son, Mark Taylor, and a sister, Rachael Vandvere.

Betty and Lloyd were married in Anniston 1 April 1946. Betty was 17, Lloyd 22, she was a soda fountain operator.
