Pauletta was born on March 8, 1932 in Duncan after her twin Paul to Edna (Wallace) and Thomas Williams Hayes. She was Duncan High School graduate - Class of 1949. Pauletta married Kenneth W. Adkins on April 23, 1950 in Duncan. They just recently celebrated 64 years of marriage.
She worked in administration in the oil and gas industry with Forest Oil Company in Corpus Christi, Texas and also worked for Southwestern Bell. Pauletta was a member of New Hope Baptist Church West.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Adkins, of the home; a daughter, Cheryl Marie Adkins Pospech of Duncan and a son, Waren Wayne and wife Brenda of Wichita Falls, Texas; two brothers, Paul Hayes (her twin) of Lawton, Oklahoma and Jerry Hayes and wife Lela of Marlow, Oklahoma; five grandchildren: Craig and wife Laura Pospech, William Keith and wife Beverly Pospech, Nicole, Carrie and Cody Kirk; three great grandchildren: Brody, Mason and Caleb Pospech and numerous nieces, nephews, who she dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Oma Ellis and Hazel Pye; and three brothers, Ira Hayes, Leroy Hayes and Everett Hayes.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
