A retired employee of Southland Corp. and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 6:02 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 75 and a native of Camden, Ark. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, Nov. 18, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home chapel Friday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Willis Easley. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Valinda and Bob Smith and Karen and Willie "T-Man" Marchand; two sons, Don William Hunter Sr. and Glen David Hunter; sister, Patsy Lusby; nine grandchildren, Bradley Boudreaux, Lauren Brown, Cara Smith, Britney Boudreaux, Tyler Smith, McKenzie Hunter, Donnie Hunter, Allison Brown and Ashley Brown; five great-grandchildren, Zanna and Hunter Boudreaux, Rustin and Hayden Brown and Tori Abbott; special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Crowe Peele; and a very special furry canine, Sprockette Smith. Preceded in death by her husband, David Wesley Hunter; stepfather, Glen C. Lehman; sisters, Linda Chambliss and Beverly Howerton; and brother, Roscoe Williams.
