MONTCALM — Bishop Fred W. Webb, 63, of Skating Rink Hollow, Montcalm, finished his earthly course on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 and received his rewards in heaven. An Ordained Bishop with the Church of God, he has served as pastor in Baxter, Atwell, Anawalt, and Genoa, WV. Through his service to Christ many lives were touched throughout the state.

Born on January 11, 1951 to Edgar and Irene Miller Webb, Fred was one of 7 children. In addition to his parents, two siblings preceded him in death, brother Edsel T. Webb and sister Rebecca J. Webb.

On October 8, 1971 he married the love of his life, Barbara J. Warburton, who was by his side through all of life's adventures.

Surviving family is, wife Barbara J. Warburton Webb, son Steve Webb and a daughter-in-law that was always considered a daughter, Joni L. Webb, grandsons Thomas W. Webb and Jacob Ryan Webb, brother Nathan Webb and wife Cathy of Montcalm, sisters Jennifer Underwood and husband Mike of Brushfork, Cathy Keller and David of Jacksonville, FL, and Kim Perkins and husband Brian of Montcalm, and lifelong companion, cousin, friend and brother Mark P. Hudgins of Montcalm. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as a loving, large church family.

Services will be at Montcalm Church of God, Sunday, June 8, 2014, at 12:00 noon, with Bishop Darryl Christian, Administrative Bishop Wayne E. Wicker, and the Rev. Steve Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Grandsons, family, and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will also be at Montcalm Church of God, Saturday, June 7, 2014, from 6-8 PM.
