James "Jimmy" Branscum, of Bronston, was born April 1st, 1934 and departed this life Friday, November 21st, reaching an age of 83 years.

He was the son of Joe and Oshia Dalton Branscum, both of whom preceded him in death.

On September 25th, 1974 he was united in marriage to Gracie Branscum who survives. He is also survived by one son, Joe; two step sons, Lee Branscum of Bronston and Curtiss Branscum of Monticello; and one step granddaughter.

Also surviving are two sisters, Gladys Flynn of Bronston and Zada Morrow of Monticello; four brothers, Howard Branscum of Frazer, Estil Branscum of Eubank, Junior Branscum of Danville and Hayden Branscum of Somerset; and one half brother, Forrest Flynn of Ohio.

Jimmy joined the Zion Baptist Church in 1962 where he remained a member until his passing.

He leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
