Lillie Mae Ingram Haskins Foster, 86, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. She was born in Henry County on March 17, 1928 to the late Willam Ingram and Minnie Moore. She was of the Baptist Faith. Lillie retired from Dupont with 22 years of service. She loved living life to the fullest but most of all she loved her family. Lillie will be greatly missed. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Flenoy Haskins, Sr. and George Foster; sister, Virginia Smart and brothers, Obie Hairfield, James Moore and Bill Ingram.
Lillie is survived by her sons, Sammy Haskins and wife, Cheryl of Martinsville and Mike Haskins of the home; granddaughter, Kaila Haskins; great-grandson, Jordan Haskins; sisters, Dorothy Brooks and Lorene Covington; special niece Patty Tate and several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 o'clock in the evening in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow the service in the Roselawn Burial Park.
