Asher M. Von Steuben, former resident of Bethlehem and husband of the late Laura (Frankenfield) Von Steuben, died Saturday morning in the Carpenter's home, Lakeland, Fla.
He was a son of the late Simon and Elizabeth (Koehler) Von Steuben, a charter member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and an affiliate of Hobah Lodge, 267, Knights of Pythias, Bethlehem, for more than 50 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. R. A. Gleeson, Bethlehem, and Mrs. Lynville Crick, Peru, Ill., two sisters, Misses Laura and Mina Von Steuben, Hecktown, and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Steyers Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. The Rev. Henry W. Snyder, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
