Iona May Brasel, age 86 of Salem, died Monday, August 8th at Salem Township Hospital. She was owner of Allen's Book Store.

Iona Brasel was cremated and there will be no public services. The Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Lynn Massey and husband James of Missouri; sisters, Pauline McLean of Salem and Ida Gragert of Salem; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
