Obituary:
Margaret E. (Devlin) Bornkamp, 85 of Monroe Twp. died Sunday at her home. Born in Queens, NY, Mrs. Bornkamp lived there until moving to the Rossmoor community in Monroe Twp. in 1985. She was employed by the Waterford and Lennox Corporations, both of Cranbury. Previously Mrs. Bornkamp was employed as a bookkeeper for 13 years at Durkin Carpet, Manhattan until 1985. She was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. She was a past treasurer of the St. James Columbiettes, Jamesburg, a volunteer at Princeton Medical Center and a member of the Red Hat Ladies of Rossmoor. She is predeceased by her three brothers William, Butch and Dickie. Surviving is her husband of 62 years, Henry, two sons Gerard of New York City and Thomas of East Brunswick and two grandchildren Nicole and Kevin. Funeral services will begin 8:45 a.m. Wednesday December 21 at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St, Jamesburg followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. Burial will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 7:45 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
