Son of Paul E and Melba L. Grosvenor Hamilton.
Married Carol Waldschmidt May 2, 1975. She preceded him in death March 23, 2013.
Survivors include daughter Ann (Michael) Parks; 2 grandchildren; his father Paul; brothers Robert (Suzanne) and Ronald Hamilton; brothers in law Dean (Tina) and Dale (Kimmie) Waldschmidt; sister-in-law Joanne (Bob) Crump; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, mother and sister Janice Kay.
He was a 1970 graduate of Coal City High School.
He was retired from Ryder Transportation where he served as safety supervisor and driver.
He was a talented woodworker.
