Mrs. Carrie Neal Butler Collins, age 74 of Florence, AL formerly of Henderson, TN passed away peacefully with her husband by her side at her residence Sunday, June 8, 2014.
Carrie was born September 20, 1939 in Miflin, TN to Gathal Butler Latham and the late Thomas Guy Butler. She attended Chester County High School, Henderson TN. She worked as a seamstress in Henderson, TN, Wynne, Arkansas and as a Supervisor for Reltoc Manufacturing before she retired. Carrie was full of life and energy, love, a personality that was to the point, and was always taking care of others needs before her own. After retirement she could be found relaxing on her front porch visiting with friends, cooking a wonderful lunch for her husband and anyone that were to visit. She loved working in her flower garden or searching for yard sales and finding great bargains but she received the most joy spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Underwood Baptist Church.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Guy Butler; and brother-in-law, Ray Waller.
