Frances Mae Shelton Arnold, 79, of Englewood, TN, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Parkwest Medical Center.
A member of the Englewood Christian Church; she served Englewood Lion's Club as Membership Chairperson and assisted with the Englewood food bank. Frances enjoyed gardening and canning.
She was the daughter of the late Cromer and Nannie Millsaps Shelton. She preceded in death by an infant daughter, Frankie Sue Goins.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Albert Dean Arnold.
Two sons and daughter-in-laws, Billy Joe Goins and wife Kim of Athens, Dewayne Johnson and wife Shirley of Englewood,
Three grandchildren: Joseph and Bill Goins of Athens and Charity Johnson of Englewood.
The family will have a private service at a later date. No formal visitation will be held.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 209 10th Ave. S., Suite 212A, Nashville, TN 37203.
