Mrs. Faye Marshall, 79, of 239 McKinley Ave., Carrollton, died in her home Tuesday after an extended illness. Born April 8, 1900, in Union Twp. she was a daughter of the late John W. and Rosa (McCort) Shotwell and a life resident of Carroll county. She was a member of Carrollton Church of Christ (Christian), the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and the Carroll County Farm Bureau. On September 1, 1920, she married Lorin Marshall, who died July 6, 1972.
Surviving are two sons, Doyle and Carl, both of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Roscoe (Wilma) Worley of Magnolia; three brothers, Jim, John and Lynn Shotwell, all of Carrollton; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Orwick of Canton and Mrs. Mary German of Dellroy, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. this Thursday in the Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. Richard E. Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Carrollton.
