Jeremiah C. Brenneman was a member of the 125th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, Company C., also known as "The Bible Company". According to the History of the One hundred and twenty-fifth regiment, Jeremiah C. Brenneman was shot above the right eye at the battle of Chancellorsville. Jeremiah Mustered in to service on August 11, 1862 as a private and Mustered out on May 18, 1863.
