RICE, RYAN LEE— Of Jackson, passed away November 30, 2003, at the age of 19. He is survived by his parents, Carl Jr. and Penny Rice of Jackson; one brother, BJ Rice of Jackson; grandparents, Butch and Irene Rice of Michigan Center, Ken and Marge Jacobs of Jackson; aunts and uncles, Shari (Mike) Betz of Jerome, Tim (Heather) Jacobs of Jackson, Terry Rice of Jackson, Tim (Flo) Rice of Leslie; several cousins; girlfriend, Leslie David of Jackson; and special friends, Mike (Vicki) Moss of Jackson. Ryan was a 2002 graduate of East Jackson High School with all honors, where he played football and received the school record for "receiving yards" and made All-Conference. He also played baseball, basketball, and hockey. He was enrolled at J.C.C. and was taking Criminal Justice classes and was extremely excited about enlisting in the Army to serve his country. Services will be held at Grace Church in Jackson on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Richard Ratts officiating. Interment will take place in Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friends who wish may make contributions to the Ryan Lee Rice Memorial Fund c/o Grace Church, 2692 N.
