MUNCIE--Wanda R. Maxwell Clark, 66, Muncie, passed away Saturday at her residence in Muncie after an ongoing illness. She was born in Knoxville, Tenn., to Reba D. and Melvin Knight. She worked in the laundry department of Superior Linen for a few years. Mrs. Clark was a member of Old Towne Hill Baptist Church, an avid reader, gardener and Colts fan.
Survivors include a daughter, Vanessa G. Chapman, Muncie; a son, W. Michael Maxwell (wife-Cheryl), Parker City; a sister, Marge Greene, Muncie; a brother, Tony A. Knight, Huntsville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two adopted grandchildren; her cat, Miss Molly Rose; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; several brothers and sisters; and son-in-law, Kyle E. Chapman, Jr.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parson Mortuary. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary and an hour before services Wednesday.
