RICHARD 'DICK' P. WENNER
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, 1995, in Bateman Carroll Funeral Chapel for Richard ''Dick'' P. Wenner , who died Nov. 8 at age 73.
Mr. Wenner was born June 2, 1922, in San Francisco and graduated from Balboa High School. He attended one year of junior college in San Francisco.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
In 1946 he played baseball for the San Francisco Seals. He was transferred to the Portland Beavers, where he played center and left field until 1952.
He also worked for Oregon Realty.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Frances; daughters, Peggy A. Augustine of Welches and Linda M. Sabrowski of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; sons, Paul F., Richard M. and Marcet M., all of Portland, and Dana W. of Gresham; and five grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances to St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church or St. Anne's Catholic Church outreach program.
