Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her parents, Walton and Hettie Evans; husband Edwin R. Dean; and two brothers.
Survivors are daughter, Anita Baugher; grand daughter, Paige Kistler (Charles); great-grandsons, Weston Dean and Bryce Kistler; nephews, Charles W. Evans and John Evans; and niece, Dale Grissom.
Pallbearers are Dennis Whitehead, Tony Burns, Barry White, Travis Long, Mike Holland, Jim Holland and the Deacons of York Terrace Baptist Church.
On June 7, 2014 Sue Evans Dean moved out of this earthly house, in which she had been living for 93 years and moved into the Fathers house, where she will live forever.
A precious wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Sue lived a life of faith and service to her Lord Jesus Christ. She was a charter member of York Terrace Baptist Church, having taught Sunday School class. She was Secretary and Treasurer of Robbins Tire and Rubber. She did a lot of volunteer work at Shoals Hospital where she served on many committees for 19 years. She was also on the board of Muscle Shoals Caring Center.
Colbert Memorial is assisting the family.
