Mary Julia Boeck, 82, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Dec. 28, 1917 in Ashford, a daughter of Henry and Wilmina (Jung) Guggisberg. In 1942, she married Walter Bruessel. The couple lived in West Bend until he died in 1966. On May 23, 1975, she married Norbert Boeck at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville. He died in 1993. She attended school in Fond du Lac County, and was employed at Regal Ware in Kewaskum until retirement in 1966. Mrs. Boeck was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and its quilters group.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Crawford of Palm Springs, Calif.; a niece, Pamela Jean Mull of Lincolnton, N.C.; a nephew, Gregory Guggisberg of Lincolnton; cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by both husbands; and a brother, Henry.

Services: Funeral Services will be held at noon Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville. The Rev. Geoffrey Hoy will officiate. Interment will be at Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery in the Town of Wayne. Visitation: From 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Paul Church organ fund. Cottrill Funeral Home of Mayville is serving the family.
