Mrs. Beatrice Kilpatrick Bittle, 47, a former Homer resident, and sister of Mrs. Jeff Baker and C. L., V. D. and Luther Kilpatrick, all of Athens, died at her home in Pensacola, Fla., at 8:00 a. m., Friday, October 22, following a brief illness. Funeral services were held at the First Methodist church in Arcadia at 2:00 p. m., on Monday, October 25. Burial was in the Tulip cemetery under the direction of the Conger Funeral Home of Arcadia. Mrs. Bittle is survived by her husband, Taylor Bittle of Pensacola; two daughters, Julia and Mary Bittle of San Antonio, Texas, two sons, James Bittle of the U. S. Army and Charles Bittle of Pensacola; four brothers, L. E. Kilpatrick of Shreveport and C. L., V. D., and Luther Kilpatrick, all of Athens; and two sisters, Mrs. P. W. Miles of Minden and Mrs. Jeff Baker of Athens. The Bittles were former residents of Homer and have many friends here who will be sorry to learn of the death of Mrs. Bittle.

Mrs. Beatrice Kilpatrick Bittle, 47, sister of L. E. Kilpatrick of Shreveport, died at her home in Pensacola, Fla., at 8 a.m. Friday. following a brief illness. She was a native of Arcadia. Funeral services will be held at the First Methodist church of Arcadia at 2 p.m. today. Burial will be in the Tulip cemetery near Athens. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Conger funeral home of Arcadia.
