NANCY JEFFERSON
FLOYD Mrs. Nancy Jefferson, widow of the late Solomon Jefferson, of Floyd, died in that town on the 7th of this month in the 84th year of her age. Some 65 years ago she taught school at the Ridge, and among her pupils were Judge Denio and Rev. Albert Barnes. She retained her clear mind and memory to the last. She has been a resident of Floyd for some 50 years. The funeral took place on Tuesday last.
