Bruce E Hunt, 66, of Urbana, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at OSU Medical Center. He was born Nov 8, 1947, in Urbana and was a 1965 graduate of Graham High School.
Bruce served his county during the Vietnam War as a Canine Handler in the United States Air force. He also served as a volunteer for 12 years as part of the Canine team for the Champaign County Sheriff's Department Auxiliary. He retired from CT Communications after 30 years of service as a Purchasing Agent. Bruce enjoyed reading and playing golf.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Luther Hunt, and his mother, Maybelle (Carter) Hunt; father-in-law, Ray Penhorwood; and several aunts and uncles.
