Dorothy was a retired Pastor of United Methodist Churches in Southern and Central Illinois.
She was born June 30, 1933 in St. Jacob, IL, daughter of the late Orlando & Sadie (Peters) Ludwig.
She is survived by six children & spouses, 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, six brothers & sisters, and her former husband, Herbert Fellhauer.
She was preceded in death by a brother John Ludwig and a son-in-law Michael Clarkin.
Dorothy graduated from Highland High School in 1951. After raising her family, she attended SIU-Edwardsville and St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, MO. She was certified as a licensed local pastor in the United Methodist Church. Over the course of her career, she served as pastor of ten United Methodist Churches in the Southern Illinois Great Rivers Conference. She retired at Perry, Illinois in 2007 with her beloved cats, Kitzel and Copper. In addition to active participation in Methodist Outreach Programs, she served as a volunteer flood relief co-coordinator in the Grafton area and as a volunteer in Mission in Guatemala, Costa Rica & Belarus.
