He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia with a doctorate of pharmacy and was a past president of the Virginia Pharmaceutical Association. He worked with F.P. Landon & Company in Richmond before going into business here with his father.
Dr. Miller served on the Virginia Board of Pharmacy for ten years and was a member of the Masons, Elks, Kiwanis and Christ Episcopal Church.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel Heatwole Miller; son, Guy L. Miller III of Charlottesville; two daughters, Constance Jane (Mrs. Richard) Boutros of Rochester, New York and Kathleen (Mrs. Frank) Haynes, Jr. of Charlottesville; and five grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Christ Episcopal Church with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
