Thomas Harvey ("Harry")Williamson was the son of Jeremiah Williamson & Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Stafford Williamson. He was also a grandson of Thomas and Keziah Broyles Williamson of Greene Co., TN. Thomas was a member of Co. A 14th Tennessee Infantry (CSA). He enlisted at Bristol, TN in April 1864. Thomas was captured during The Battle Of The Wilderness (VA) (May 1864) and taken to Point Lookout (Prison), MD were he died. He married Julia Ann Painter (17 September 1850; see - Williamson, Julia A. in Broyles-Kyker Cemetery, Greene Co., TN) and fathered six sons and one daughter. Thomas died one week before his youngest child's (Thomas H.,Jr.) 2nd birthday. Submitted by Randy Williamson (a G-G-G Grandson). *Note marker at base of the monument states his name as "HARRY WILLINSON" Co. A 14 Tenn.
