MeMe loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and new great-grandbaby. MeMe went to every sporting event; football, baseball, basketball, golf and karate, and could talk sports with anyone. She probably missed her calling as an ESPN analyst. School functions were just as important, and because of her "do your best" and expecting the best of all of her "kids," many awards and recognitions have been handed out with MeMe in attendance. Besides being married to Joe for 54 years, the other men in her life were Elvis, George Strait and David Ball. MeMe traveled all over the US, the greatest fan ever and had many friends that she kept in touch with through Facebook.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Bobbie Faye Turnipseed.
She is survived by her husband: Joe Reynolds; son and daughter-in-law: Lamont and Donna Reynolds of McDonough; daughter and son-in-law: Joy and Jay Lett of Meansville; brother: Leon Fritz; sisters: Patty Sue Martin (Calvin), Louise Adams and Ann Hyatt; grandchildren: Evelyn Lett, Zachary Dixon, Kara Ussery, Jordan Reynolds, and Justin Reynolds; great-granddaughter: Claire Elaine Dixon; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13, at 5 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 4-5 p.m. at the funeral Home. In lien of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Liver Foundation, www.liverfoundation.org.
