He was born on October 31, 1946 in Jellico, Tennessee to the late Finley Lawson and Myrtle (Goley) Lawson.
He is survived by his sister, Wilma Raines (Adrian) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; niece and nephew, Angela Helton and Kelvin Williford; great niece and nephew, Nicholas Helton and Chelslynn Helton; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour Friday, February 2, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ewell Jamup Lawson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Anderson-Siler Cemetery on Lot Mud Creek Road.
