She married Lewis Peet of Ft. Covington on October 25, 1880.
Surviving were four children, Pliny, now of Syracuse, Clark, who is principal of LaSalle street high school at Niagara Falls, Mrs. Alvin (Cressy) Henderson of Oswego and Irma, a teacher in one of the Niagara Falls schools; two grandchildren. Miss Vivian Peet and Clayton Peet both of Syracuse, a sister, Mrs. Frank Struthers of South Hadley, MA; two brothers, Frank Hurteau of Burke and Stephen Hurteau of Cazaville, Canada
