Joe was the oldest son of Lewis C.and Mary Isabella 'Mollie'(Dodson) Caton. He married Nancy "Nannie" Jane Patterson on June 19,1907.She was the daughter of Katherine & James G. Patterson.Joe lived in Snyder for 44 years and owned/operated Caton-Dodson Dry Goods store.
