Alexander - Lucille Boone Higgins, 63, died Saturday at her home.
A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she had been employed by Mills Manufacturing Company and retired from American Enka Company. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late T. Roscoe and Mae Howell Boone.
Surviving are her husband, Burgus W. Higgins; a daughter, Bonnie Potts; two sons, Wayne and Gary; two sisters, Barbara McElrath and Frances Pressley; a brother, Eddie Boone; and a grandson.
